Day 2 A Journey to the Rhythm of Tonlé Sap's Waters

After breakfast, departure at 8:00 am toward Kampong Phluk, a traditional village on the edge of Tonlé Sap Lake. A true testament to human adaptation to an ever-changing environment, this village is made up of houses built on tall stilts that can rise several meters high. Upon arrival, board a local boat to explore this fascinating lake village. You will discover the daily life of fishing families who live according to the seasons and the rise and fall of the water level. Depending on the time of year, the boat trip continues through the spectacular flooded forest, where trees seem to rise straight out of the water, creating a uniquely natural setting.
